Packers take $12.9M option on former first-round Georgia DT

The Green Bay Packers will keep former Georgia Bulldogs defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt. They've exercised Wyatt's fifth-year option, according to Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz. This assures that Wyatt will be able to anchor down the Packers' defensive line through the 2026 NFL season.

Drafted by the Packers in the first round (28th overall) of the 2022 NFL draft, Devonte Wyatt has solidified his role on Green Bay's interior defensive line. The former Georgia Bulldog demonstrated his impact during the 2024 season, recording over 20 tackles and five sacks in just 14 appearances.
