The Green Bay Packers made a swap at cornerback on the 90-man roster on Wednesday, releasing Kaleb Hayes to make room for the signing of Gregory Junior.
Hayes, a first-year player out of BYU, signed a futures deal with the Packers in January.
Junior (6-0, 203) was a sixth-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2022 draft. After playing in 10 games with the Jaguars during his first two NFL seasons, Junior was released prior to the 2024 season and then spent time on the practice squads of the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts during the 2024 season.
