Despite taking an ugly 16-13 loss to the Carolina Panthers this past Sunday—and a home loss at that—the Green Bay Packers sit at 5-2-1 at the midway point of this 2025 NFL regular season, which is just good enough to have them sitting atop the NFC North. It's not by much, of course, as both the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears are 5-3, with the Minnesota Vikings not far behind at 4-4.
Now, in theory, the Packers could and probably should be at least 7-1 at this point, as they blew a 10-point lead in their Week 3 loss to the Cleveland Browns and a 13-point lead in their Week 4 tie with the Dallas Cowboys.
