INDIANAPOLIS -- Aaron Rodgers has emerged from the darkness. But the quarterback and Green Bay Packers brass apparently haven’t had significant talks since the end of the season outside of some text messages.
Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst spoke with reporters on Day 1 of availability at the NFL’s scouting combine and was noncommittal about the four-time MVP. Gutekunst said that until he and Rodgers have those conversations, then “all options are on the table right now.”
“Yeah, we’re going through our process as normal, so, obviously, free agency coming up here,” Gutekunst said. “That’s an important part of what we’re doing, so it’d be nice to have some answers before then (March 15).
