Green Bay announces roster moves ahead of Week 18 Lions game
The Green Bay Packers signed TE Austin Allen and K Matt Ammendola to the practice squad. The transactions were announced Tuesday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.
Allen (6-8, 253), a first-year player, was originally signed as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Nebraska by the New York Giants on May 13, 2021. After being released at the end of August, he spent the first six weeks of last season on the Giants' practice squad. Allen played in 44 games with 24 starts in college, registering 65 receptions for 975 yards (15.
