The Green Bay Packers continue to tweak their roster as training camp approaches. On Tuesday, the team signed rookie wideout Adonis Jennings, according to his agent.
A 6-foot-3, 205-pound wide receiver out of Temple, Jennings went undrafted this past April and ended up signing with the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals subsequently cut Jennings, with the Packers bringing him in for a tryout during minicamp last month. Apparently, Jennings’ performance left enough of an impression for Green Bay to bring him onto their roster for training camp.
Because the Packers already have 90 players under contract, they will have to make a corresponding move to make room for Jennings.
