Will Sheppard's getting an opportunity in the NFL.
The former Colorado Buffaloes wide receiver is signing with the Green Bay Packers, according to a report from NFL insider Jordan Schultz. Before landing in Green Bay, Sheppard attended Denver Broncos mandatory minicamp on a tryout basis in June.
Sheppard (6-2, 198 pounds) was one of seven players who tried out for the Broncos at mandatory minicamp, but none of them were signed. The 23-year-old receiver spent four years at Vanderbilt before transferring to Colorado ahead of the 2024 season.
