According to long-time NFL reporter Aaron Wilson, the Green Bay Packers have signed cornerback Dominique Martin, who worked out for the team recently. The corresponding roster move to allow for Martin’s signing is the Packers waiving pass-rusher Randy Ramsey with an injury designation, the first step to Ramsey potentially landing on Green Bay’s injured reserve.
A little over a week ago, this is what head coach Matt LaFleur had to say about Ramsey’s injury: “Yeah, that was not a good injury. It’s a shame because he’s done so much, in terms of bringing that special teams value, but also he’s reliable when we’ve been putting him on defense as well.
