Packers should turn to offense on Day 2 of the 2019 NFL Draft

The way the draft board fell in the opening round, Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst felt best about adding to the defense, which was also the case in free agency. With so much new talent on defense, Mike Pettine’s unit has the potential to be much improved in 2019. But now the attention should turn to Green Bay’s offense.

Many pieces are already in place. There’s no need to go quarterback, of course, and the Packers also have an elite left tackle and No. 1 wide receiver. But they could do with help just about anywhere else they can get it.
