The Packers beat the Los Angeles Rams in no small part because of the presence of wide receiver Christian Watson but, to run the table, they’ll likely need to be mad scientists to design unique plays for him.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur acknowledged Watson affected the game by the Rams dedicating All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey (who has a stellar 81.9 rating out of 100 from Pro Football Focus) to Watson and rolling safety help his way on many plays. That opened up plays for Watson’s teammates.
They’ll have to do much more to get the ball in the hands of their best weapon on Christmas against the Miami Dolphins—and not just because Watson is on my fantasy team.
