Packers select center Josh Myers with 62nd pick of 2021 NFL Draft

The Green Bay Packers did not move up in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and with a glut of highly-rated players slipping in round two, Brian Gutekunst chose to stand pat once again in the second round on Friday evening. A group of wide receivers and offensive linemen fitting the Packers’ preferences were still available into the late 50s, leaving the Packers with plenty of options near the end of round two.

But with a hole at center thanks to the departure of Corey Linsley in free agency, the Packers elected to fill it with another Ohio State center seven years after drafting Linsley out of Columbus.
