The Green Bay Packers returned quarterback Jordan Love to practice for Thursday’s padded practice, according to Wes Hodkiewicz of the team’s official site.
Love, who injured his groin during Sunday’s win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, missed Wednesday’s practice.
Coach Matt LaFleur said Love would have a chance to play against the Detroit Lions on Sunday whether he practiced or not this week. Love’s return to the practice field — even in a limited capacity — suggests the door is wide open for him to play in three days.
On Wednesday, Love said it was “realistic” he could play Sunday, but he needed to be able to move around and navigate in and out of the pocket well enough for him to be available.
