Packers promote Adam Pankey to 53-man roster, sign Darrell Greene to practice squad

After releasing LaDarius Gunter and Ricky Jean Francois Tuesday, the Green Bay Packers have brought their roster back up to 53. In addition to bringing back Geronimo Allison from suspension, the team has signed offensive lineman Adam Pankey off its practice squad. Former Philadelphia Eagles guard Darrell Greene replaces Pankey on the practice squad.

Pankey, a 6-foot-5, 313-pound product of West Virginia, joined the Packers earlier this year as an undrafted free agent. Pankey failed to secure a spot on the Week 1 roster, but the team decided to retain him on the practice squad after he cleared waivers.
