Packers players, coaches and foundation donate $270K to Waukesha victims fund

The Green Bay Packers came up big to support the victims of one of their state's worst tragedies.

The team announced Tuesday that its players, coaches and Packers Give Back initiative have combined to donate $270,650 to the United for Waukesha Community Fund, which benefits the victims and families of the parade attack that killed six and injured dozens of others.

A total of 42 players and coaches put up $135,325 with the team matching the donation.

"We were all heartbroken after the senseless tragedy in Waukesha and we worked with our players to help determine the best way to have an impact as an organization," said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy.
