GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Green Bay Packers have submitted plans to increase the size of the Lambeau Field sign in the stadium’s north end zone as the team prepares to put in new scoreboards for the 2023 season.
The width of the north scoreboard will be expanding approximately 46%, according to city of Green Bay documents. The documents do not say whether the height will also be expanding, but it does not appear the scoreboard will be any higher than it is now based on renderings the Packers submitted to the city.
Lambeau Field lettering behind the scoreboard will be expanding approximately 47% to 1,238 square feet, according to the city documents.
