The Green Bay Packers have cliched the NFC’s top seed and are playing the conference’s worst team, the Detroit Lions, in the final week of the regular season. Surely, they would rest Aaron Rodgers, their MVP-caliber quarterback, in this meaningless game, right? Well, apparently not.
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that Rodgers will start against the Lions. He also added that he doesn’t think Rogers needs to play.
The Packers are planning to start Aaron Rodgers on Sunday and then LaFleur will see how the game goes.
