Earlier this afternoon, the Packers announced they have placed wide receiver Jayden Reed on injured reserve.
Reed suffered a broken collarbone during the team's Week 2 win over the Washington Commanders that led to clavicle surgery. Reed also confirmed that he also underwent a foot operation to take care of the reported Jones fracture he had been playing through to start the season.
The Packers will undoubtedly look to bring Reed back at some point later in the season, most likely well after the mandated four game absence required for a stay on IR.
The third year receiver led the Packers in receptions and receiving yards in 2023 and 2024.
