The 2021 season for Will Redmond with the Green Bay Packers is over.
The team placed Redmond on season-ending injured reserve as part of the roster cutdown to 80 players on Tuesday.
Players placed on injured reserve before the selection of the initial 53-man roster are not eligible to come off injured reserve. The Packers could come to an injury settlement with Redmond, which would release him from the team at a later point.
Redmond, who signed a one-year deal to return to Green Bay this offseason, left Saturday’s preseason loss to the New York Jets with a toe injury.
