Packers party house owners hope late-season home games help offset lack of fans to begin season

GREEN BAY - There was a fair bit of grumbling among season ticket holders and businesses when they first learned the Green Bay Packers would play six home games in November and December.

Now, Paul Belschner sees it as a silver lining in a season shaping up to be unlike any other in recent memory.

Belschner and his wife, Zoi, rent out their house at 1199 Shadow Lane, with a garage dedicated to former Packers general manager Ron Wolf, patio seating, and rooftop deck and a backyard overlooking Lambeau Field.

In a typical year, moderate fall temperatures and sunshine mean the house across Lombardi Avenue from Lambeau Field is booked quickly for September and October home games.
