GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Rookie offensive lineman Sean Rhyan, a third-round pick of the Green Bay Packers, was suspended six games for violating the NFL Policy on Performance-Enhancing Substances, the league announced on Friday.
Rhyan had not played a single snap on offense this season and the only time he appeared in a game was on one special teams play on Nov. 6 against the Detroit Lions.
He is suspended without pay and is eligible to return to the Packers' active roster following the regular-season finale against Detroit. Unless Green Bay (4-7) makes the playoffs, his season is over.
