The head-coaching interview for Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett with the Jacksonville Jaguars is expected to happen next week during the team’s bye week.
Hackett said he’s “very excited” about the opportunity, especially after clinching the No. 1 seed in the NFC last week.
“We’re going to do it during the bye because we wrapped up the No. 1 seed. We’re really excited about the opportunity. It’s a dream for any football coach to even have an opportunity to potentially become a head coach,” Hackett said Thursday. “It’s a credit to everybody in this organization.
