before the Packers faced the Seattle Seahawks in week 2. Those of us among the faithful believed the Packers would beat the Seahawks at Lambeau and having done so, the affect that would have on the betting line was obvious.
And so it goes.
The betting line for both the Super Bowl winner and the winner of the NFC was pretty much a boat race between the Packers and Seahawks, with one team being favored over the other depending on the sports book you were checking and the day of the week. Now that the Packers have beaten the Seahawks while moving to 2-0 and damning the Seahawks to 0-2, the betting line has changed dramatically, with the Packers now overwhelming favorites to win the NFC and, to a slightly lesser degree, the Super Bowl.
