The Green Bay Packers made a difficult decision on Monday morning. After an offseason full of rumors, the team decided to move on from longtime star cornerback Jaire Alexander.
Early on in the offseason, it was reported that the Packers were open to trading Alexander. Those reports then grew into potentially cutting him if the team was unable to find a trade partner.
Following the early stage of searching for a trade partner or potentially releasing him, Green Bay was looking likely to keep him for the 2025 season. Unfortunately for fans who wanted him to remain with the team, that didn't happen.
