Without the cap space this past offseason to spend big money in free agency and with it being clear that early-round draft picks were more for the future than for now, many had their doubts that this Green Bay Packers team would improve in 2020. Actually, I believe many expected them to regress.
However, GM Brian Gutekunst was banking on the offense taking a big step forward in Year 2 of the Matt LaFleur system -- spoiler alert, they did -- and another hope, or perhaps 'expectation' is the better word, was that we'd see several members of the 2019 draft class leave their marks on this season.
