On the same day that the Green Bay Packers saw 2018 starting safety Kentrell Brice sign with another team, they met with a free agent at the same position. According to ESPN’s Field Yates, the team visited with New York Giants defensive back Curtis Riley. However, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel’s Tom Silverstein says the two sides did not negotiate a deal and will consider other options “for now.”
A 6-foot, 190-pound former undrafted free agent from Fresno State, Riley became a full-time starter for the first time this past season, starting 16 games at free safety for the Giants.
