Packers may have dodged disaster with Josh Jacobs injury

The Green Bay Packers suffered several injuries in their ugly victory over the New York Giants, but none were more concerning than Josh Jacobs'.

Jordan Love also briefly left the game, but he returned and led a fourth-quarter rally. But Jacobs, dealing with a knee injury, couldn't return. Matt LaFleur gave a vague update postgame, saying he's "always concerned" when a player can't finish the game.

Fortunately, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero provided far more detail than LaFleur, and it's good news.

"Jacobs will undergo more tests Monday on his left knee, but the initial belief is he avoided a significant injury, per sources," Pelissero reports.
