The Green Bay Packers chose wide receivers Matthew Golden and Savion Williams early in last month's NFL Draft.
It made many wonder what Green Bay's plan was, given that they already had Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson and Dontayvion Wicks in the receivers room.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Monday that at least one of those guys is safe.
Schefter wrote, "The team said it will not affect Reed's status as its top receiver."
Reed wasn't overly consistent in 2024, but his final line of 55-857-6 was a solid one.
He just turned 25 at the end of April and has a long NFL career ahead of him.
