Packers make a few roster moves

(PACKERS) – The Green Bay Packers signed defensive lineman Devonte O’Malley and defensive back Jaylin Simpson, released cornerback Garnett Hollis Jr. and waived/injured defensive lineman Keith Randolph. The transactions were announced Monday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.

O’Malley (6-3, 284), a rookie out of Northern Illinois, was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Tennessee Titans on May 9 and was released on Aug. 3. He appeared in 58 games with 46 starts over five seasons (2020-24) for the Huskies, recording 130 tackles (69 solo), 30 tackles for a loss, 22.5 sacks, an interception, two passes defensed, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
