The Packers could be without their top three running backs in Week 9.
The Green Bay Packers enter one of the biggest games of the season on Thursday night against the San Francisco 49ers, but will likely need to do so without their top three running backs.
Both Jamaal Williams and AJ Dillon have already been ruled out, and it looks unlikely Aaron Jones will be ready to return.
Dillon was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Williams and inside linebacker Kamal Martin were “designated high-risk close contacts” which means they need to isolate for five days, ruling them both out for Thursday’s game.
