Packers Legend Jordy Nelson Offers Glowing Endorsement of First Round Pick Matthew Golden

The Green Bay Packers broke a streak 23 years running during last week's NFL Draft as they selected Texas Longhorns wide receiver Matthew Golden in the first round.

The pick marked the first time the Packers took a receiver in the first round since they selected Javon Walker of Florida State in 2002.

Golden helped lead the Longhorns to the College Football Playoff in 2024 after coming to Austin from the Houston Cougars, and now appears poised to become a top target for Jordan Love in Green Bay.

Recently, Golden received a glowing endorsement from Packers legend Jordy Nelson heading into the spring and summer months.
