Packers lead Commanders 14-10 at halftime

The Green Bay Packers lead the Washington Commanders 14-10 at halftime of their Week 7 meeting from FedEx Field.

The Packers began the scoring when quarterback Aaron Rodgers found running back Aaron Jones for a short touchdown to give Green Bay an early 7-0 lead.

The Commanders struggled to get anything going on offense, mainly due to quarterback Taylor Heinicke’s struggles. Washington was gifted with a muffed punt inside its own 15-yard line, but Heinicke’s third-down throw to rookie tight end Cole Turner was high, and the Commanders settled for a field goal.
