Lane Taylor’s knee injury appears to be just as severe as the Green Bay Packers initially feared. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Taylor’s injury will require surgery and he will likely be done for the season. Head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed as much in his Zoom videoconference with the media on Monday afternoon.
Taylor, a former undrafted free agent now in his eighth NFL season, has now suffered his second season-ending injury in as many years. He tore his biceps in practice last season and only played two games, paving the way for Elgton Jenkins to step in at left guard.
