The Green Bay Packers are expected to keep rookie undrafted free agent Nazir Stackhouse, a defensive lineman out of Georgia, on the team's initial 53-man roster on Tuesday, per Ryan Wood of PackersNews.com.
Stackhouse making the first roster would extend the Packers' streak -- which dates back to 2005 -- of keeping at least one undrafted rookie on the initial roster.
Stackhouse (6-4, 327) flashed at times during Packers training camp as a run-stuffing nose tackle type, and Green Bay's roster has a need for one after losing veteran T.J. Slaton to the Cincinnati Bengals in free agency.
