Packers’ Josh Jacobs was offered more by other NFL teams...or maybe not

Dan Pompei, one of the best features writers in the sport, recently got to sit down with new Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs to discuss his free agency decision with The Athletic. In the piece, Pomei claims that the teams who reached out to Jacobs’ agent in free agency were the Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, New York Giants and, obviously, the Packers.

This particular paragraph caused a stir:

The Giants came on strong with an offer between $3 million and $4 million more than he eventually accepted.
