Jordan Love had a bit of a weird August. Midway through, he came up with a left thumb injury, and it meant he'd be out for the remainder of the preseason.
That created at least some questions and concerns about how Love would perform when he took the Lambeau Field stage for Week 1, Green Bay Packers hosting the Detroit Lions.
The Packers' star QB alleviated those worries very quickly.
"Anyone worried that Jordan Love would come out of the gates slowly after missing so much practice time, following his left thumb injury, had their concerns eased right away," wrote ESPN's Rob Demovsky.
