It’s been a tough season for Green Bay Packers running back James Starks.
The veteran underwent knee surgery in October to repair a torn meniscus, a procedure that caused him to miss a month; around the same time as his surgery, he suffered a death in his family.
More recently, Starks has been the target of Packers’ fans’ ire for his lack of production: he’s averaging just 2.3 yards per carry this season, by far the worst of his career and the worst of any back with 60 or more carries this season.
