The Packers are reportedly waiving Jace Sternberger.
Entering the league as a third-round pick only two years ago, Jace Sternberger was expected to eventually become a featured part of the Green Bay Packers‘ offense.
Unfortunately, it never quite worked out. With his two-game suspension coming to an end this week, the Packers had to decide whether to make room for him on the 53-man roster.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Packers have waived Sternberger.
It’s a disappointing end to Sternberger’s time in Green Bay as he had the potential to become a good pass-catching tight end in this offense.
