Packers Injury Update: Kentrell Brice leaves Dolphins game with ankle injury

The Green Bay Packers’ safety group has been diminished by roster transactions in recent weeks, but injury struck the position once again in the first quarter against the Miami Dolphins.

Starting third-year safety Kentrell Brice suffered an apparent left ankle injury on a tackle attempt, and he was carted off to the locker room. Brice has missed time in parts of a few different games this year, but he had started all nine games this season. It appears that this injury is probably a serious one, however.

Josh Jones, who had been playing some dime linebacker, shifted back to take Brice’s place at safety for the remainder of the defensive series.
