The Packers had been considering all their options regarding Jaire Alexander's shoulder injury, including surgery which would have most likely ended the star cornerback's season.
Head coach Matt LaFleur indicated on Friday, however, that the team won't be shutting down Jaire for the time being.
"We got better clarity with that," said LaFleur. "Certainly, it’s just one of those things we're going to let heal and see where it's at down the line before making that determination (on surgery). We’re hopeful it’ll heal the right way and he’ll be back with us in a matter of weeks"
Alexander is officially listed as Out for the Packers game against the Bengals on Sunday.
