Packers hold onto one of Aaron Rodgers’ favorite targets, Allen Lazard

The Green Bay Packers have tendered wide receiver Allen Lazard as an exclusive rights free agent, meaning that Lazard will be back with the club in 2020, according to Michael Perrett of Element Sports.

Lazard is coming off a 2019 campaign in which he played every game and caught 35 passes for 477 yards and three touchdowns.

The 24-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Iowa State, went undrafted but eventually landed with the Packers in 2018, when he appeared in just one contest and logged one catch for seven yards.

He spent four years at Iowa State, arriving at the school back in 2014.
