Packers Hire Former Jets HC Robert Saleh To Consult Offense From Defensive Perspective

GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers have added a former NFL coach to their offensive analysis staff as the team looks to improve it’s preparations each week.

According to head coach Matt LaFleur, former Jets head coach Robert Saleh has joined the Packers staff in a “fluid” role that will involve helping the offense prepare for games by bringing a defensive perspective to the film room. Saleh was in attendance during practice on Wednesday and will be working with the team through Friday. It remains to be seen if he’ll keep working with players in person or be working remotely in the coming weeks.
