Packers hire ex-Muskegon Catholic Central, SVSU star for minority fellowship

Football trivia experts, here’s a riddle for you: Who is the only person in mankind to catch touchdown passes from Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers and Matt LaFleur?

Do you need more time to think?

OK, time’s up. The answer is Ruvell Martin, former wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers during both the Favre and Rodgers eras and ex-pass-catcher for Saginaw Valley State University, where he was a top target of LaFleur, now the Packers’ head coach.

Martin was in the news on Wednesday, when the Packers announced he was hired by the organization for a year-long, full-time minority coaching fellowship established by LaFleur.
