Packers healthier than Lions for showdown, but they won't have Jaire Alexander, Romeo Doubs

DETROIT − The Green Bay Packers' injury situation could be much worse — all they have to do is check the other sideline Thursday night in Detroit — but they will be less than a full roster for Thursday night's showdown against the Lions.

Cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee) and receiver Romeo Doubs (concussion) are both inactive. So are linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (hamstring) and cornerback Corey Ballentine. All four were ruled out Wednesday.

Rookie offensive lineman Jacob Monk is a healthy scratch.

The Packers elevated seventh-round rookie Kalen King from the practice squad to active roster for game day to compensate for their lack of depth in the secondary.
