Packers HC Matt LaFleur gets brutally honest on ‘unfortunate’ training camp injury

The Green Bay Packers are currently participating in training camp in preparation for the 2025-26 season, led by head coach Matt LaFleur. Unfortunately, this week the team received an injury setback regarding running back MarShawn Lloyd, who limped off the field during a recent practice and was unable to return.

Recently, LaFleur spoke on his reaction to the tough news, calling it “unfortunate,” per Rob Demovsky of ESPN on X, formerly Twitter.

“Unfortunately he’s had to fight through a lot of adversity,” said LaFleur, referencing the fact that Lloyd had to miss almost all of his rookie season last year due to injury.
