If the Green Bay Packers are interested in drafting a pass rusher in the first round this year, Texas A&M’s Shemar Stewart might be the prime candidate.

In terms of traits on the football field and athletic testing off it, Stewart fits the prototype of a Packers edge rusher.

Standing at 6-5 even and weighing 267 pounds, the 21-year-old has the size Green Bay looks for, giving him the ability to defend the run as well as rush the passer, and potentially the versatility to kick inside and rush over guards. He also has long arms at over 34”.
