Packers’ first preseason touchdown comes on Equanimeous St. Brown’s muffed punt recovery

If one had predicted the way the Green Bay Packers would score their first touchdown of the 2019 preseason, everyone would think they were crazy. In truly bizarre fashion, the Packers took a 7-0 lead on the Houston Texans in the first quarter of Thursday’s exhibition opener, thanks to a booming punt by JK Scott.

That’s right.

With the line of scrimmage at the Packers’ 40-yard line, Scott crushed a booming punt towards the Texans’ Keke Coutee, who had to back up to try to field it at the four-yard line.
