Packers fast, swarming defense holds Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs to record low in Week 1

The Green Bay Packers held Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs to record-low receiving production during Sunday's 27-13 win at Lambeau Field to open the season.

Gibbs, a two-time Pro Bowler, carried nine times for 19 yards and caught 10 passes for 31 yards. The rushing number was low but far from historic. Focus on the receptions and receiving yards here.

According to pro-football-reference.com, Gibbs became just the fifth player in NFL history to catch at least 10 passes and gain fewer than 40 receiving yards. His 31 receiving yards? Now an NFL record low for a player who caught at least 10 passes in a single game.
