Packers eyeing big CB move after Cowboys exposed brutal weakness

The Green Bay Packers have a cornerback problem. We all know that.

We knew it in March. We knew it in June after the Packers released Jaire Alexander. We know it now, and more than ever. The revamped pass rush masked those concerns during the opening three weeks of the season, but the Dallas Cowboys provided a sobering reminder of just how problematic the secondary can become.

Importantly, it seems like the Packers also understand, and they are eyeing a move to help. According to Easton Butler of Packer Report, the Packers have called to check on free-agent cornerback Asante Samuel Jr.
