The Green Bay Packers elevated cornerback Micah Robinson from the practice squad to the gameday roster for Week 1 of the 2025 season. The move was announced Saturday, making Robinson available for Matt LaFleur and the Packers for Sunday's regular season opener against the Detroit Lions.
Robinson, a seventh-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft, made the initial 53-man roster but was released to make room for linebacker Nick Niemann and then immediately re-signed to the Packers practice squad. The rookie will give Jeff Hafley's defense extra depth at cornerback with Nate Hobbs (knee) questioanble to play.
