GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The Packers make official on Thursday what was first reported by the Journal Sentinel on Wednesday, that Strength and Conditioning Coordinator Chris Gizzi has been dismissed.
Gizzi has been in charge of that department for the last 5 seasons, and was an assistant S&C coach the 5 seasons before that. The Packers had a rash of soft tissue injuries in 2023, which could be a reason for the change. Gizzi is the second coordinator that Matt LaFleur has parted ways with this week; Joe Barry was relieved of his defensive coordinator duties as well.
